On the tools
Yes. Fill in job details in a basement, a plant room or a rural property with no signal. Checker stores the work on your device and syncs it when you are back in range, so a dead spot does not turn into a second round of typing at home.
Gas and heating engineers can also connect a KANE flue gas analyser over Bluetooth. Boiler manuals put servicing instructions for nearly every boiler on the market within reach. These tools sit beside the job record, where you need them.
Growing the business
Yes, on PRO+ only. Each sub-user costs £10.99 a month plus VAT and has a separate login under your business account, with permissions you set, so the master account stays in your control. That keeps work under the business account while each engineer uses their own access.
A sole trader can start on a lower plan without paying for seats that are not needed. When the firm grows, PRO+ lets the team work from the same customer records and job history.
Accounts kept current
Checker connects with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage on PRO and PRO+. Xero synchronises invoices and payments in both directions, so changes in either system can stay aligned. QuickBooks and Sage are available integrations, but the both-ways sync is Xero only.
You can also take chip and pin payments with Zettle or send a pay-by-link through Stripe. The aim is simple: finish the job, send the bill and record the payment without rebuilding the same work in another system. Explore all Checker app features.
