Finish on site
Yes. Fill in the report on the job, collect the signature and create the PDF from the app. You can send it while the work is still fresh, rather than rebuilding the notes when you get home.
The finished report stays with the customer record. When they call next year, you can see the past work without looking through folders, inboxes or the back of the van.
One job record
Yes. The report, customer details, quote and invoice can sit in the same app. Send a quote before you are out of the customer’s drive, turn accepted work into an invoice and keep the paperwork tied to the job.
Checker also handles CIS, VAT and DRC without a separate spreadsheet. The full quotes and invoices page shows how the money side fits the job record.
Keep the payment trail beside the work as well. You can see what you quoted, what you invoiced and what the customer paid without matching separate lists at the end of the week. That gives a one-person business the same clear job history a larger office needs.
Straight pricing
LITE is £10.99, PRO is £19.99 and PRO+ is £25.99 a month, plus VAT.
Annual prices are £109.99, £199.99 and £259.99 plus VAT. Every plan includes unlimited files, records and reports. There is no charge per report.
LITE covers files and records. PRO adds all report features and the back office, including CRM, reminders, business analytics, accountancy sync and Growth Engine. PRO+ adds sub-users. Offline working
Yes. Fill in forms in a basement, a plant room or a new build with no working connection. Checker saves the work on the device and syncs it when you are back in range.
You do not need to write the readings twice or wait beside a router. Finish the job in front of you, then let the app catch up when the signal returns.
Growing the business
Yes, on PRO+. Sub-users are not included as standard on LITE or PRO. Each sub-user costs £10.99 a month plus VAT and has a separate login under your business account, with permissions you set, so the master account stays in your control.
That lets each electrician work under the business account without sharing a password. Their jobs and paperwork stay with the company record. A sole trader can start without paying for seats they do not need, then move to PRO+ when the team grows.
Accounts connected
Checker connects with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage on PRO and PRO+. Xero synchronises invoices and payments both ways, so changes can move between Checker and Xero without the same figures being entered again.
QuickBooks and Sage are supported too. The both-ways sync is Xero only. Read the current detail on accountancy integrations.
Start with real work
Start with one customer and one live job. Add the details, choose the electrical form you need and work through it on the device you already carry. You do not need to move every old record before the app becomes useful.
Once the first job is in, set your quote and invoice details. If you use PRO, add reminders for EICR and PAT renewals so Checker can bring the next job back to you instead of leaving it to a note in next year’s diary.
