Oil Heating Software
We built Checker as job management software for UK oil heating engineers, producing CD10, CD11 and CD12 records from the job, from £10.99 a month plus VAT.
Your paperwork should move with the job. We keep the customer, oil records, tank checks, quote, invoice and service history together, so you can finish more of the work before you leave the property.
Use it on a phone, tablet or desktop. Record the visit beside the appliance, collect the details you need and create the finished PDF without taking a second set of notes back to the office.
It suits sole traders and growing oil heating firms across the UK. You can start with the forms, then add job tracking, reminders and accounts tools when you need the back office.
Free for 30 days. No card needed.
Oil paperwork
We give you the core oil heating forms in the same app as the job record. Files, records and reports are unlimited on every plan, and there is no charge each time you produce one.
| Document | Use on the job |
|---|---|
| CD10 | Record completion of an oil firing installation at the property. |
| CD11 | Complete the oil firing servicing and commissioning record for the work carried out. |
| CD12 | Document a landlord oil installation safety check and keep it with the customer history. |
| Domestic oil storage tank spillage and fire risk assessment | Capture tank, siting, spillage and fire risk details during the visit. |
| Oil warning and advice notice | Give the customer a clear record of a warning or advice from the visit. |
Complete the fields on site, add the customer signature where needed and create a PDF that stays with the job. The record is ready to send without retyping the visit at home.
Familiar forms
The oil forms follow familiar OFTEC layouts, so the information appears where you expect it. Checker helps you complete and store the paperwork. It does not register an engineer with OFTEC or submit records to OFTEC.
That clear boundary matters. You remain responsible for your registration and the work itself. Checker gives you a practical way to capture the details, create the customer copy and keep the job history in order.
Tank checks
Yes. You can complete a domestic oil storage tank spillage and fire risk assessment while you inspect the installation. Keep the findings, job notes and finished report against the same customer.
If you find a problem, create an oil warning and advice notice from the visit. The next engineer can then see what you recorded, what the customer received and what follow-up work may be needed.
Repeat work
On PRO and PRO+, Checker can send an annual service reminder 11 months after the customer was created. That gives the customer time to book before the next service is due.
You do not need to scan a diary at the end of each month or build a fresh list from old invoices. The customer history is already in the app, ready for the next booking. See how service reminders help bring regular work back.
Checker also includes servicing instructions for nearly every boiler on the market. Open the manual when you need it, rather than losing time searching across different sites at the property.
From quote to payment
Yes. Send a quote before you are out of the customer’s drive, turn accepted work into an invoice and keep both beside the oil record. Checker handles CIS, VAT and DRC without a separate spreadsheet.
PRO and PRO+ add quote chasers on days 7, 10 and 14, plus invoice chasers when the payment terms lapse. Read more about quotes and invoices.
Checker connects with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage on PRO and PRO+. Xero synchronises invoices and payments both ways. The same two-way claim does not apply to QuickBooks or Sage.
Straight pricing
LITE is £10.99, PRO is £19.99 and PRO+ is £25.99 a month, plus VAT.
Annual prices are £109.99, £199.99 and £259.99 plus VAT. Every plan includes unlimited files, records and reports, with no charge per report.
LITE covers files and records. PRO adds all report features and the back office, including CRM, reminders, business analytics, accountancy sync and Growth Engine. PRO+ adds sub-users. Compare them on the pricing page. The 30-day trial gives you full access with no card. There is no contract, and you can cancel any time.
Offline working
Yes. Fill in the oil record in a basement, a remote plant room or a rural property with no useful connection. Checker saves your work on the device and syncs it when you are back in range.
You do not need to write the same readings twice or wait for a customer’s Wi-Fi. Finish the visit where the work happened. If your firm covers wider heating work too, see the heating software page.
Growing the team
Yes, on PRO+. Sub-users are available only on PRO+ and cost £10.99 a month plus VAT each. Every sub-user has a separate login under your business account, with permissions you set, so the master account stays in your control.
Each engineer can work on their assigned jobs without sharing a password. Their records stay with the company customer history. A sole trader can start without extra seats, then add engineers when the workload grows.
